This one’s a long one.

After Grex and the others beat Anubis Eldrorrok finally spoke to him. Destroy that family’s multiverse no matter what. Grex took that no matter what and continued manipulating the family until Narrati finally legally married him. Grex planned to destroy everything there but Narrati turned out pregnant. Elder decided to make Grex keep the child so he could try manipulating him into joining the other archons in destroying the multiverse. Elder finally gave up though when Ovara showed no signs of joining and demanded Grex break it. Reluctantly, Grex did as he was told, exploding the multiverse and leaving no sentient life. Because of Ovara’s Godqueller and Arconic heritage he managed to stay alive, which surprised him. All there was left was him and his father. Instead of explaining what happened Grex, confused and now horrified, just said “Sorry, Kid” and left him in that multiverse.

Ovara was left sitting in space for hundreds of years, which made his hatred and pain burn and burn until all he wanted to do was avenge his fallen family. He eventually figured out he could teleport through dimensions and managed to escape. For hundreds of years he managed to train his powers, his body, and learned how to charm and manipulate people while changing forms. He eventually found his father and fully atomized him. He thought he would feel happy or grateful that his old man was gone but all he felt was hatred. He started trying to rip through time and space just so he could see if more of his father were out there. After years of painful struggle he finally manages to break free and find that there are millions of different timelines and possibilities for his own. consumed by bloodlust he started finding every timeline he could muster and finding and destroying Grex. After 200 or so he started getting bored and extremely lonely. He hadn’t made any real friends in his time being alive thanks to his goal, but now all he wanted was to be with his mom and brother again.

he Jumped between another timeline so he could see what life would be like. He found the perfect one. His parents and family were all alive, healthy, and thriving. He wanted to feel happy, but all he wanted was to be there and live there. Problem? That universe already had an Ovara, much smaller and weaker than himself but still him. Now, instead of being happy for that version of him and leaving to rebuild his life, he decided he needed to take that person’s spot. Now, he could easily just kill him and change his form to look and act like the kid, but his cover would be blown when it came to inside jokes and his friends. So, he did something incredibly painful and risky. He managed to rifle through this timeline and completely eliminate any traces of that timeline’s Ovara, and change it with himself. He started living that Ovara’s life, having fun with friends he’s never met, being part of the family that got stripped away from him too soon.

Now, he’s just a cocky arrogant “jokester” that doesn’t really help with anything that his friends need but will happily do it for the sake of entertainment. A selfish, egotistical, charming man that has more secrets than he lets on.

There would always be a problem. This timeline is called the Cannon timeline, while his is from the Bad End Timeline. Do you wanna know the reason why hopping through timelines are mostly forbidden? Because if you… the rules of that timeline will follow you wherever you go.
