So before I share my (maybe unpopular) opinion, here’s a bit of context. I played AC 3 when I was younger and overall I liked it… but I really remember hating the ship mechanics / naval combat they experimented with. A few years later , AC Black Flag was on sale and I kept hearing people say it was the best AC game ever. So I thought “why not” and bought it… but to this day I still haven’t finished it, and honestly I don’t think I ever will. I just really don’t like the naval combat. I suck at it... it is so confusing and I just don’t enjoy it at all. Recently, I bought AC Odyssey. I knew there was some ship stuff in it, but I got it anyway… and for the past few months I’ve been having a lot of fun...but now I’m stuck on a naval combat mission and it’s honestly making me hate the game
So yeah… I just don’t like the ship mechanics in AC. I definitely prefer AC games with little to no naval combat (like Origins, Unity, Mirage, etc.). So I was wondering if I am the only one who feels this way? And if not, does anyone have tips to make it more enjoyable?
