Hey Y'all!
Currently, I'm writing a story set in a world of superheroes/metahumans, in a fictionalised version of Brisbane, Australia, that follows the lives of an emergency service unit comprised of metahumans. That being said, I've never been there, nor Australia as a whole, so I was wondering when it comes to certain cultural specifications, general and local slang, certain social norms, or cultural attitudes specific to the country, Queensland, and the city, and so on, what should I consider when writing. I was to ensure I have these details when writing characters and writing the worldbuilding, especially in how Australia/Queensland would handle metahumans or superheroes.
