Does anyone have any suggestions about finding a ride or public transportation from Breckenridge to the Waterton Canyon trailhead?

My friend is joining me for the first stretch of the trip and was hoping to leave his car in Breckenridge and somehow get back to the start of the trail then hike back to his car on June 20th.
