Solo researcher building a classical, explainable ethical evaluation engine — looking for feedback

Disclosure: I used Grok (AI) to help draft and refine parts of this post, but all ideas, personal details, and the core message are my own.

Hi everyone,

I'm Marussa, an independent researcher in Greece working alone on QERRA-v2 Classical.

I'm developing a 100% classical (no LLMs in the core logic) ethical evaluation engine based on 12 immutable human-centred vectors (SEMEV-12). The goal is to create a transparent, fully traceable system that can evaluate situations and provide clear ethical scores and reasoning — something that could serve as an auditable safety layer in high-stakes AI.

It currently has a live public API, calibrated test cases, and nuance handling for complex moral pressure situations. Everything is deterministic and explainable by design.I'm posting here because I'm particularly interested in feedback from the AI safety community:

  • Does a vector-based, classical approach to ethics feel promising, or are there fundamental limitations I'm missing?
  • Are there specific scenarios or edge cases you think would be useful to test?

The repo is here if anyone wants to take a look:

I'm not looking for funding or promotion — just honest feedback and thoughts from the community.

Thank you in advance.

Marussa
