We're getting there
Excuse how dark it is..
So I've now had her for coming on 8 months, was told she was around 3 when I got her and she'd never been let out of her cage.
Over the last few months we've ditched the cage and she has a permanent playground/tiel area on top of a tall bookcase so she has her own space and can free fly whenever.
She was unbelievably scared all the time and hated everyone-shes still not too keen but I am getting so pleased with all the little progress steps we are making together.
Over the last couple of days she's started flying over to my bed and perching right above me, going to sleep, spying on me and probably silently judging my choice of YouTube watches.
I'd been working on feeding her by hand before while she was on top of the bookcase and it was going well but now she flies over, I grab seeb and do this each time.
Anyway, just ten minutes ago she decided to casually land on my legs while i was lying there talking away to her and she had a little waddle up and down,seeb munch, sit and then also possibly silently judge the state of my hair before flying back up to my headboard where I then provided more seeb for the good birb.
This has honestly made my day and I am gutted I didn't get that part on video!
Fingers crossed for more ahead!!!
