Oh my god

I finished this a couple days and I cannot stop thinking about it. I’ve always loved greek mythology, but the way Rosie Hewlett captures both the loud and angry power of men and the silent haunting power they hold gave me absolute chills. This book will haunt you long after you read it. Of course it’s a story of love, but oh, it is so much more than that. It’s a story of the silent resistance of women in a world where they were born as a possession. There are times where I felt as if I were in the book, solely from the illustration of pure desperation. I have never had a book enrapture me in such a way. I recommend you read it.
