Realizing my best bet would be to produce my own Projects.

it’s actually mind boggling to me that even while living in a major city, having acting credits, a resume, being in acting classes, as well as a lot of dated advice given to me it’s still nearly impossible to book a job.

Absolute worst part of everything about this industry is self tapes being normalized in major cities where the CD will Immediately close out the window if they don’t like them, CDs now use ai to filter out Actors as well so you might not even be seen at all, no personal connection with the CD no beats just effort for nothing.

Changed my major from Theatre to Engineering & Mechanics last week & will just audition for plays, shorts & produce my own.

Feel like the biggest thing people forget about 2010s nostalgia was that everyone was outside.

people forget that the 2010s preferably 2010-2016s it was the last time where kids could play outside until the street lights came on, it also bridge the gap between being outside & being in the house playing video games. Pokemon go literally was a go touch grass app, there was no DoorDash & Ubereats. we really traded authenticity for convenience & it’s l getting worse & worse
