I've been working on a desktop app called AccessWave Ultimate and have just released it as open source. Basically, it lets you paste a YouTube URL and download it as MP3 (up to 320kbps) or MP4 (up to 1080p). But the part I'm actually proud of:

- Auto-embeds album art into the MP3

- Auto-tags title/artist metadata

- Trim controls so you can clip just the section you want

- After it downloads, it opens Finder/Explorer and highlights the file automatically

- SSL bypass so downloads don't randomly fail

- There's also a secret easter egg if you type "magic" into the URL box lol

The wild part is I built this using four AI assistants, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, bouncing between them depending on what I needed. Debugging, UI layout, the download engine, and packaging for Mac and Windows. It was genuinely a different workflow, and I kind of loved it.

Made a little website for it too, with download buttons for both platforms and the source code.

It took so long to build and was super fun to make. I linked the website!
