20yo with $20k to invest, what would you do?
Kia ora, I’m 20 and have about $25k cash, with $20k available to invest and $5k kept as an emergency fund.
I’ll be starting a grad role soon, around 60k salary. I aim to invest about $400/month for a start. I also contribute 4% to my KS.
I’m investing for long-term growth and I’m comfortable with market volatility.
At the moment I’m leaning towards using Kernel as my platform, and I have been looking at the new Total World fund they're offering.
Would you keep it this simple, or consider Kernel High Growth, S&P 500, World ex-US, or Emerging Markets, etc?
Also, would you invest the $20k as a lump sum or spread it out?
