I looked around a bunch and found other people in the sub who ran into similar issues because of the MediaTek drivers, but I made sure to install everything and still can't update. When the device is on I can transfer files to it normally, but when I try to connect it to updater while it's off it connects then immediately disconnects after like a second or two. Tried 3 different cables and 2 different ports, no dice. Could it be a faulty device or did I just miss some small detail?

PS I restarted my computer after MediaTek drivers just like it told me to
