April recap, 9-11/52

April was another slower month. Unfortunately, work was super busy so reading took a backseat. Hopefully I can read some more this month to catch up.

Emma: 4/5, I really enjoyed this one! My main complaint was that it could’ve been a little shorter. This was my favorite Jane Austen I’ve read so far.

The House of the Seven Gables: 2.5/5, I had a lot of hope going into this one. However, I found it to be overall boring with not a lot actually happening. Maybe if this book had been cut down I would’ve enjoyed it more. I liked the initial set up to the story.

Broken Country: 4.5/5, I loved this one! Multiple timelines are usually hard sells for me but this one was great! My favorite of the year so far.
