The state of the industry in your area

Hello wine people! As a recently laid off sales rep from a NYC based wine importer, I’m just wondering how things are in your neck of the woods. Needless to say, things are tough right now but I feel as though New York is a bit of a bubble and it’s hard for me to gauge how other parts of the country are doing.

The city is weird because restaurants/streets/trains are all busy but it just hasn’t translated to consistent sales. I’ve been trying to piece this puzzle together for a few years now and just haven’t found the answer. Looking to transition back to retail as the wholesale side of the industry is hard right now.

Would love to hear some thoughts!
