I have the faber all in one adult adventures book, and while I do enjoy it, there's no feedback for what i might be getting wrong. Also as useful as it is, it can be quite boring to only be playing from the book every session and im not good enough yet to sight read other pieces.

I was wondering if it would be worth supplementing the book with an app? I'd still be using the book but I think using an app alongside might help with motivation.

I dont want a falling note style app like synthesia, I started off using that and while it was fun, I built dependence on seeing the notes and im trying to stray away from that. But something that has sheet music (possibly even with midi connection to detect incorrect notes) seems like it might be actually beneficial.

Any thoughts on this? And if it seems reasonable, any suggestions on which app to go for, there's so many options its difficult to pick
