I play on 3 teams all coed (play with my wife) however one of them is a balls and strikes team, whereas the others are coed 3 pitch aka team pitch.

I’m nothing fantastic, but I bat middle order and hold my own. Lately, on my team pitch teams, I’ve been mashing wall bangers regularly. However the balls a strikes team? Couldn’t put a beach ball in play if I used a light pole for a bat. Put simply…it’s like night and day between the teams.

Am I just overthinking the mat and now having to track the count? I cannot for the life of me figure out why I hit so bad in mat ball.
