Tempur-Pedic Delivery Woes
Posting this to see if anyone has been in a similar situation and can offer advice or knows a way I can make meaningful contact with Tempur-Pedic.
Big fan of tempur-pedic mattresses. I have spinal issues and their medium-hybrid is the only thing I’ve tried that doesn’t give me pain. We had an adapt queen, but wanted to go up to a king and upgrade to a breeze to sleep a little cooler.
We were supposed to receive delivery of our mattress and adjustable base Saturday afternoon. We donated our old set to a family member Saturday morning. Truck arrives and the delivery team asks me to take a look at the mattress because “the box was damaged when we picked it up from the warehouse”. Look at the mattress and it has a lot of damage, so I refuse delivery.
I immediately call customer support thinking this will be a simple transaction of “sorry this happened, we will expedite delivery of a new set”. 4 days, 3 phone calls and 2 online contact forms later, all I get told is “sorry, the resolution team will email you eventually”.
Sleeping on the floor in the meantime, might pick up an air mattress soon. Best 9 grand I’ve spent so far.
Edit: forgot to mention that I purchased these items directly from tempur-pedic’s website.
