HELP??
Ok so I need serious help with my campaign, it's based on Las Vegas, and I'm the ST for a group of pretty veterans players, I'm kinda feeling the pressure, but I already told them to close an eye if there are some discrepancies with the lore, one it's playing a Tzimisce, the other Lasombra and a Nosferatu,
I wanted to find an interesting hook for them to start, they are all ancillae and I thought that maybe I could frame them for a crime that they didn't do.
they have enemies and don't have a good reputation within the camarilla so I would also have a reason to why they would frame them, but the thing is... HOW DO I MAKE IT BELIVABLE?
an important guy died while opening a box that he won at an auction, and something happened that he was found dead (still need to decide if it was a good old stabbing or some kind of ritual related to the object if someone has any specific rituals that comes to mind it would be helpful)
A drop of blood belonging to the Tzimisce?
can a tremere taste it and know the generation and clan and so only him fit the description?
or maybe the Lasombra? Did the cameras "catch "him entering the crime scene?
for the nosferatu maybe while they were reviewing the footage it was mysteriously wiped out?
the Lasombra also has properties in a hospital so the other thing is maybe the guy went to one of his hospitals and died?
the thing is I always bended a little the "lore" of vtm to fit the storytelling, like if I was narrating for my usual group I would not bat an eye saying that there was a specific ritual that killed the guy in that way cause it's perfectly belivable, but since they know the world so well I don't want them to feel cheated if I pull out something that doesn't exist or worse that activly contradict the Canon.
thank you in advance, every advice is GREATLY appreciated.
