Tyler's Taste in Albums Shown in Tamale Music Video (2013)

A distinct shot right at the end before the transition to Answer, we see a bunch of vinyl strewn across the bed.

So the obvious one is one in the center, the cover for 'Relapse' by Eminem
But I wanted to bring attention to all that are shown, and it's honestly quite telling of Tyler's musical taste which is important when talking about his style/influence.

From Left to Right

Lonerism - Tame Impala (2012)

Wanderland - Kelis (2001)

Musical Massage - Leon Ware (1976)

Relapse - Eminem (2009)

In My Mind - Pharrell Williams (2006)

Underneath the Pine - Toro y Moi (2011)

Lord Willin' - Clipse (2002)

Satin Doll - Bobbi Humphrey (1974)

Troupeau Bleu - Cortex (1975)

The Yellow Tape - Bad Brains (1982)

Tyler's selection gives context to the Jazz fusion sound we'd hear on Cherry Bomb. And albums like Lord Willin' and In My Mind shows his long-time love and appreciation for the works of Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams, the influence of their works can't be overstated to the production style of Tyler throughout his career.

Let me know your thoughts, I feel like all of the albums are a bit of artistic DNA that shows itself in Tyler's work.
