College Hockey Romance
I’m trying to remember the title of a KU college hockey romance and it’s driving me insane 😭 I think it was the FIRST book in a series set at a fictional college.

The FMC got expelled from her previous college after struggling with the pressure of being a college athlete. She partied too much, her grades tanked, and she got kicked off the hockey team. At her new college she’s seeing an on-campus therapist and isn’t really talking to her family.
She meets the MMC, who’s on the men’s hockey team. They start hanging out and going on runs together. The MMC also has a female cousin who plays on the women’s club hockey team.
At one point the MMC takes the FMC back to her family home to get her skates so she can start playing club hockey again. Her dad is angry to see her and they argue about what happened at her old school.
The FMC also runs into a freshman/new hockey player who transferred from her old school. She recognizes him because he saw her the night she got blackout drunk and was almost assaulted. She asks him not to tell anyone.
Another detail: when talking to her therapist, the FMC refers to the guys using initials/fake names instead of their real names.
BIG spoiler/twist:The MMC brings her to dinner at his house and the FMC realizes his mom is actually her therapist 😳 At the end of the book the therapist refers her to another therapist because it’s a conflict of interest.
I also vaguely remember a Christmas/home-for-the-holidays scene.
