First Indoor Grow - 28th Day of Flower - Living Soil Bed

I’m balls deep into this shit and just letting it ride at this point. Looking back, I could have veg’d a little longer and filled up my tent some more. I was impatient as shit. Haha. I’m already looking forward to the next go around. Amongst letting it veg longer, the only thing I’d change is I’d probably running the same strain for both plants. It was a bit of a hassle keeping the white widow (left) from overshadowing the Hindu (right).

All in all I’m stoked though. This is all organic. Nothing synthetic involved. 1000+ red wigglers. Build-A-Soils “Take and Bake Kit” + 3x3 Fabric Bed + Wine Cap Inoculated Saw Dust. All the teas I made were rain water + microbes by rootwise, Kashi gold, cal mag, Buddha bloom by roots organics w/ Quillaja Extact as a wetting agent - mostly given at early flower.

I’m having fun with it now. I need to do some light defoliation/bending of the larger fan leaves that are hovering over bud sites. But all in all - I think my thirst for knowledge paid off for this first grow.

I hope you guys enjoy it. One love! ❤️

This is my first indoor grow AND first time going ALL Organic with Living Soil. I cannot emphasize how happy I am with it. My tent represents a mini ecosystem, and that’s how I think of it. I provide the conditions, the plants do the rest.

I know we got a little ways to go but damn these girls look good. The plant on the left is white widow, and the right is Hindu Kush. With a boatload of patience and training I was able to keep the canopy even, despite the widow wanting to take off immediately.

The “forest floor” is just as interesting as the canopy. Mycelium devouring cherry wood chips, colorful clovers popping. The chopped and dropped trimmings enriching the soil, The fragrant basil’s, and not to mention the Tom Berry Tomato’s. Not pictured, but also in the bed is sage, and rosemary. The only water these plants get, comes from my rain barrel outside.

I remember some guy commenting when I first started posting my grow. He said “This is Dumb, why would you plant random weeds in your bed. So stupid” 😂😂😂 Hopefully he finds his way back to this post. 💀

Also Meadow Approves! (The Chesapeake Bay Retriever)

What do you guys think?

This is the moment I’ve been waiting for! The girls are stretchin’, and the buds are starting to form. Did some more under canopy clean out. I somehow managed to get a pretty even canopy between the two plants despite the White Widow (left) growing faster since day 1. Basil’s are doing well, and unpictured is a little Dill Bush in the back left. The Tom Berry Tomatoes are getting their first 2 fruits!!

Life is good!!! I hope you guys enjoy. Thanks for following the ride!
