After changing the boot logo with geteltorito, my battery died after just one day. I tried this with three different logos. The power adapter was plugged in the first place. Now it charges to 100% very quickly. As soon as I unplug the power adapter, the ThinkPad shuts down. I've already tried holding the power button for a minute without the battery or power adapter connected, and I've also tried the emergency reset on the bottom. Is there any hope left, or is the battery completely dead? I recently bought the device used. It has the 72Wh battery, which previously had a long battery life.
