Help, What do you think?

Hey, Freshman in HS rn, sorry may be the wrong place to post but oh well.

"Hey Mr.BLANK, Hope this email finds you well.

First of all, Sorry for all this word vomit. I hope you take the time to read through the whole thing.

I have done some math and found out I need to get a perfect score (I need to get a 96.5 or higher, and if I miss a single question, that's a 96.4, so close but not enough) on the upcoming final exam to get to where I want to be. I've been studying, but I was really stressed about getting one or two wrong. If this doesn't happen, yay, but if it does, do you think you would be able to bump me up that half a point? I'm not trying to be a grade grubber or anything, and am willing to do extra work and assignments if I can. I understand this may be too late or unacceptable, and I am ashamed for even asking for something like this.

The reason I was this stressed out was that I think the learning checkpoints are extremely difficult for me, maybe even harder than the PF tasks, because of their vagueness. One of the questions on Unit 3 was about which of the following sentences was the most concise. After eliminating, it had me stuck between two options:

Original sentence: crucial and essential concepts about which everyone should learn.
Option 1: concepts about which everyone should learn.
Option 2: essential concepts about which everyone should learn.

I chose option 1 and reasoned that because it's a concept about which everyone should learn, it's an essential concept, so there is no need to add the word essential again. The correct answer was 2, the explanation was "This is not the best answer. This choice is concise, but it leaves out key information, which is that the skills are essential for people to know." Questions like these always get me into thinking too deeply, or when I choose the more obvious choice, it's wrong. If you think the extra credit is too unreasonable, can I be allowed to show my reasoning on some of the final's questions to perhaps get credit back?

Last part, I'm sorry for all the word vomit. I just needed to let my thoughts out. I understand it may be unreasonable or annoying for me to ask this; it may be against the rules (or your personal ideals as a teacher) for you to do this, too. I'm not sure if I was even a good kid (if I wasn't, I apologize) in your class to request something like this, I'm not sure, but I hope you consider it. Thank you for your time, once again sorry for all the word vomit.

Thanks, BLANK.

I hate grade grubbing but man, I worked hard in that class, all for an 88, I get how the grade reflect my work but some of the questions we get pmo so much bcz they are so vague it feels like philosophy. I see some posts about how people here feel about grubbers but I just want an acceptable way because I am studying my BUTT off and feel like Im going to lose points on a final exam,I get its unfair for other students so I hope he atleast gives me the second part about my reasoning. IDK what do yall think, dont be too rude, also im not one of those overpriveleged rich boys or the weed dealers, i go to class have otherwise straight a's, take high-level classes (doubled up in maths) and compete in sports, stem comps, volunteer at a hospital, etc; I'm a (decent) kid (I hope) and my teacher is chill if you were my teacher would you give it to me?
