SLT?

Finally heard back from the recruiter after I was ghosted after the last interview. I was told that they are working through some SLT approvals (I assume this means Senior Leadership Team?) Which is bottlenecking their progress on getting offers out. Is this something I should expect will take a long time or? I know there's really now way to know. Im just curious from other's experiences.

Last Wednesday I completed my 4th interview for a role. I did the intiial screening plus one on one interviews with 2 different managers and then 2 different directors, first of which was the hiring manager. After each interview I sent a follow up thank you to the person conducting the interview as well as the recruiter who was working with my throughout the process. The recruiter always responded super fast, within 20 minutes of the 3rd interview to schedule my 4th one. After that last interview I followed my same routine but this time I got radio silence. I had forgotten to ask during the final interview about sla time frame to hear back so on Friday I tried to call the recruiter to ask. No answer. I thought maybe she eas out so on Monday I followed up with a very polite and professional email reiterating my enthusiasm and asking for a time frame. Again, silence.

Today marks one week since that final interview. Should I try another email? Phone call? Should I maybe reach out to the director who is the hiring manager? Each interview went really well and communication was so good along the way that now im stressing out since I haven't heard.
