Update 3.7 Just Dropped!

Release Notes:

  • Improved performance when switching between Video, Audio, and Document feeds.
  • Document loading speeds vastly improved.
  • Built completely separate caching pools for Video vs Audio players. Gets rid of the weird audio bug that occurred when swapping modes.
  • Search Page Overhaul. Now the search icon brings you to a separate search page instead of swapping out your feed with videos related to your search. Helps with search for specific content.

We hit 1100+ installs overnight! Update 3.5 & 3.6 just went out!

Beyond excited to have passed the 1000 install goal! Thank you to anyone who has it installed! Attached a video for anyone who doesn't have it installed and wants to see what it's about before downloading.

In celebration the 3.5 update was pushed out this morning. It overhauls the app to now have 3 different Feeds. Video, Audio & now Documents!

Now you can watch movies, tv shows, anime, & more on the Video Feed. Find albums, podcasts, radio broadcasts and more on the Audio Feed. & Find books, comics, manga, government documents, manuals, etc on the Document Feed.

Still with separate "Museum Exhibits" for each feed to save and organize anything you find.

Update 3.6 was just to fix a few minor bugs caused by the 3.5 update. Primarily for tablets but fixed some edge to edge display issues on phones as well.

At 750 installs on Google Play! 1000 install update sneak peak!

I can't even believe we are already at 750 installs! I'm glad people love the app so far.

So here's a sneak peak of what's planned for the 1000 install update 3.5.

A fully implemented THIRD feed to switch over to a document/text mode. Find random books, magazines, manga, manuals, etc & read them right in app. With all the same Museum functionality of the other feeds so you can save and organize the collection.

We are on track to hit 1000 installs by this weekend so be on the look out for the update! & I can't wait to hit the next milestone of 2500 installs. I have an even bigger update planned that should be a surprise to everyone.

Update on version 3.4

So first off we just hit 400+ installs! On the road to 1000 users & I'm hoping to get there by this weekend.

Next I pushed a new update last night for version 3.4 so here's just an update on the things that were changed.

- Upgraded Google billing to the latest version for enhanced security for anyone going ad-free.

- New Weighted Feed Algorithm allows advanced users to take control of their feed's algorithm and randomization. When Weighted Tags are enabled, you can assign high or low weights (up to 10) to specific tags, massively increasing their chance of appearing in the feed.

- Massive Tag expansion from 30 to 60 tags in video feed. Also added more genre tags for the Music feed. Can be sorted alphabetically now too from the appearance settings.

- New algorithm logic for weighted tags. Had to rewrite the feed algorithm for when weighted tags are turned on. So turning it on completely overhauls the feed to give you control over it.

- A few bug fixes that were found.

One milestone at a time. But Archive Dive is projected to pass 1000 users by the end of the week according to my developer dashboard.

I'm glad everyone has been liking it. & i'm glad people have been finding so much great content on there.
