I will be in Paris for 4 days in mid-September. I have never been to Paris, so imagine I will be doing the majority of the tourist attractions (Eiffel tower, louvre, notre dame, Versailles, etc.) but also looking to chill out a bit at cafes and walk some neighborhoods. I’m looking at apartments to book as hotel rooms are wildly expensive in most areas. My sister in law lived in Paris for a few years and said her favorite areas are the 4th and the 11th. She recommended I stay near République. Right now I am going back and forth between republique and bastille. Any recommendations welcome, including completely different areas. Thanks!
