Please help :(
I’ve had a baby tortoise for a couple months now. Yesterday while I was at work he flipped himself over, when I got home I flipped him over but he hasn’t moved since. His head is tucked into his shell and his legs are as well. I can’t tell if he died while flipped over or if he’s just in shock. I feel like he would be more limp if he was dead but he’s also not reacting to any stimulus. I also tried soaking him.
I feel so bad :(( my poor baby. He’s never flipped himself over before and not been able to get back up. I don’t even know how it happened. He wasn’t near anything but the wall :((
He wasn’t directly underneath a heat lamp and his humidity is at 70%-99%. It was 6 hours at most. I didn’t think they died that quick from being turned over.
I’m devastated right now and idk if I’m being dumb by hoping he could still be alive :(
