Hello, I am looking for help on 2 movies from my childhood that I cannot fully remember/find.

1st movie is horror and the only things I remember are a house by itself with some monster and people are trapped inside of it and the one scene that I can think of is a black woman and white guy suicide themselves with a grenade to try and kill it. (Has been mentioned/found in the comments)

2nd movie from what I can remember has an ending with a home invasion against a gang and one of the main characters teammates accidentally shot the son on the staircase of the gang boss and mc was nice to kid and gifted him a playstaion 2 earlier in the movie
