I restore vintage 70s audio (Instagram @retroaudiorevival) and am a fan of the integrated amp / tuner combos but they’re difficult to display and present. I had a friend build this custom box for the Marantz duo - complete with internal vent paths for the amp. Walnut veneer case. I love the look!
I normally restore 70s and 80s vintage home audio. I recently bought a large collection of vintage German tabletops and have started restoring them on by one. New rectifiers, main filter caps, paper caps and electrolytics. Some tubes depending on condition. I post these on Instagram once complete (@retroaudiorevival). Thought I would share the latest restoration (Telefunken Opus 7) and a few pics of other tabletops waiting in line. I still have about 35 to go!
