Nala.. Sweet Nala.. Little light of mine..

New(ish) first time cat owner. Our Nala is a a mix of Russian blue (mum) and dad is possibly a Turkish angora.

We have had her just over a month and she has brought SO much light into our lives.

In January we lost our son. Our little heart warrior at 12 weeks old. Anyone who has lost a child, will know that the pain is beyond anything you can ever describe to someone who hasn't been through it.

To cheer me up a bit, my SIL offered to give us one of her kittens. I instantly fell in love with Nala. She was the only girl out of a litter of 5.

Nala is an absolute sweerheart. She mostly sleeps under my ottoman bed, but at night she creeps under my duvet to cuddle. She knows if I have an off day, unfortunately those are many, and she will come up for extra cuddles.

Grief is painful.. Especially the grief from losing a child. It won't get better, I know that already. But having Nala is a good distraction from everything else. I love her so much and it's the best decision we have made.

Pictures of my little snow white princess.
