The insane layout of Saint Mary's Hospital from Part 1

This layout was created by me after a VERY long time of meticulously mapping out the walls, desks, stairs and pillars. As I reached the area where Joel unplugs Ellie, I got pretty confused at how stretched out that side of the hospital was, though. If anyone has any corrections they feel are necessary, please let me know!

I genuinely feel bad for people who quit the game early on

I mean you're entitled to your own opinion and can do what you want with your game, but the amount of masterful storytelling, immersive environments and enjoyable (although sometimes difficult) gameplay that was missed by these people makes me sad. I'm assuming a lot of the time it was from spoilers or just people who didn't like what happened in the beginning which is fine but seriously? Why waste 50 dollars on a game by not playing 90% of it?

Why Angela is now my favorite Smosh cast member

I want to start off by saying that I haven't really used this subreddit before a lot so Im sorry if this is a super recycled opinion. I think a big part of it is the energy she brings to whatever video she's in. She has such a positive, naturally funny presence, and I really enjoy hearing her takes on the Reddit stories. She also seems to have great chemistry with pretty much everyone she works with, which makes her interactions feel really natural and genuine.
Even when she's not necessarily delivering the funniest joke in the room, I feel like she has a way of making the entire situation more lighthearted and entertaining. She can make a conversation, reaction, or random small moment interesting just by being herself lol. I think that's what makes her stand out to me so much because it's not just individual jokes, but also the overall energy she brings to the videos she's in. I do sort of understand the people who say she's annoying though.
My second favorite would probably be Shayne because I love how effortlessly funny he is, especially when he can take a completely normal conversation and turn it into something insanely funny. He also has great chemistry with basically everyone and I feel like he can keep a video entertaining even when nothing particularly crazy is happening.

Apparently unpopular opinion: The part 1 remake is just a better game than the original.

You can 100% make a valid argument about the graphics and how the original looked better than the remake because preferring a more artistic look over an insanely realistic one is totally fine. But the argument made by people claiming that the original had better gameplay, crafting systems, enemy AI and whatnot is just ridiculous. Naughty dog has improved as a game development company SO much since the original and remastered came out of part 1 and so it seems pretty unlikely that the game they had a probably 40 - 70 MILLION dollar budget of improving upon somehow came out less enjoyable and interesting than the original. Because keep in mind it is a REMAKE so the goal was not to create a perfect copy of the originals. Finally, if it bothers these people this much then just stick to playing the original lol there's nothing wrong with that.
Anyways if you have an argument against what i'm saying I would be happy to listen and even change my mind about this.

More graphics comparisons of the Remastered VS Remake

Top is Remastered, bottom is Remake for those who don't know what they are

What was the turning point in your opinion of Abby? If your opinion never changed, why not?

If you disliked her at first but like her now, what changed that? Abby choosing to go back for Yara and Lev was the turning point for me personally

The Last of Us's biggest problem is that many people will only know it through the show

I want to preface this by saying I have nothing against the actors in the show like Bella Ramsey or Kaitlyn Dever, I think they did a good job and played the parts the best they could. However, I think one of the biggest long-term issues with The Last of Us* *show is that it's unintentionally affected how a lot of people view the franchise as a whole. If someone has never played the games, the show is The Last of Us to them. So when they come away thinking certain characters are poorly written or events in the show are weirdly placed, that impression often gets attached to the games too, even when those issues either don't exist there or are handled very differently. It feels like the TV adaptation has become the public face of the series, which is a shame because a lot of non-gamers will probably never experience the version of the story that made the franchise so loved in the first place.

Joel and Sheila's house layout

1st pic - Main floor
2nd pic - Upstairs
3rd pic - Basement
(Btw I'm sorry, I don't have a for sure answer on where they get into the basement in the show so I just put the basement where it most likely is)
Light gray means the floors above and below it aren't currently in view and the dash means it's a window

Layout of the Lakehill Seattle Hospital starting when Ellie finds Nora

I apologize for the lack of clarity on which areas you specifically play as Ellie and Abby, I couldn't find a lot of good options on how to do it without spending like 2 hours on it lol

This just makes me really sad given what happens a few days later

I know this was supposed to mess with you but I do really hope they had a descent plan that allowed at least SOME people to stay back and take care of the kids and crops etc.

The Last of Us style office room in Roblox Studios

I thought a before and after the apocalypse (or I guess after and before) would be cool. Obviously my resources are limited with Roblox Studios but I spent a bit on this and I think it came out pretty good.

I made a timeline for Part 2. Any feedback would be helpful!

Please be constructive with your feedback as I'm not super good with graphic design. I also apologize for the image being so small lol I couldn't find a way to make it thinner without making all of the text even smaller
