I’ve been a big fan of just Dance since just dance 2 released forever ago. I’d say out of the entire series just dance 4 is probably the best with 2014 being just slightly behind. When 2016 released it definitely felt like the beginning of the end. I’m not sure exactly why but I guess I could pin point that ACTUAL dance music started dying around 2014/2015, which is why the tracklists were so good back then. By 2017 that’s really when the series fell off for me. But the newest games are just genuinely slop, there’s just nothing good in any of them and the choreographies are genuinely so bad. I think the real answer is that party music died a long time ago and just dance was better when that type of music was still around.

As someone who’s been following since 2015 and has been on COPIUM for years, I finally realized this game wasn’t going to be finished a few years ago. Last time the game received a significant update was in 2024 when amai was partially implemented and after over 2 years she is still not finished. The developer has been dicking around for years now. Obviously I’d love to see this game finished as it was a huge part of my childhood, but the obvious reality is that it’ll never be finished. I was in elementary when I was following this project and now I’m halfway done with college. But is there anyone, regardless who feels like there WILL come a day when the project is truly completed? It was hard for me to give up on this project and face the likely reality that it’ll never be finished, but I feel pretty confident we’ll never see a full release. Especially because amai is still not finished (partial release in the game, literally only the first like 2 days are fully finished to my knowledge, idk, haven’t closely followed the game in a minute)
