Hello Marching Band family! I'm going into my senior year of high school next year, and this past month I was named Head Drum Major (beating out a previous DM for the spot). I'm super excited for this year and I'm stoked about getting to be a Drum Major and do what I love. However, with that being said, I can already feel the pressure of being a Drum Major beginning to pile on, It's got me nervous now and questioning myself and how I'll do in a leadership position like this.
Do any directors, past or present Drum Majors have anyt advice for me on what I can do to become the best I can be at this?
