After several issues with the wifi connection to my PC, I updated the latest Plus4 firmware.  There was an error message (see pic 1)

Following direction on wikiQidi      (wiki.qidi3d.com/en/PLUS4/Manual/firmware-update),   I then loaded the 'mksscreen.recovery' file from the USB drive root.

I then tried to upload  'mksclient.recovery'  file from the USB drive root;

Now the touchscreen seems to boot up OK - (no warning statement) - and it looks as though all is well, but none of the buttons seem to work:

No homing; no LED; The 'auto bed leveling' button in 'TOOLS tab' has no effect; all sensors show '0' in the 'CONTROL tab'

I am unable to initiate 'bed or nozzle' heating.

I have sent a message to QIDI support, but has anyone got any ideas?
