The cauldron has blessed me as I'm about to pick up HOFAS from my public library! Been on the wait list forever. Can folks tell me if Emile (the kid they saved and sent to live with Bryce's parents in HOSAB) comes back or contributes to the plot in any meaningful way? So much of the second book was about the search for him but felt like very little pay off in the end. Does this book circle back on him?

Also, tell me something I won't understand until I get to the end of this book! 😍
