How specific does a research question have to be when applying?
As the title might imply, I’m applying to PhD programs in higher education administration / educational leadership, and I have a general idea of a research question, but I’m unsure of how specific I have to be in a personal statement. I’ve worked in different functional areas, so I know what area I’m interested in doing research in, but I’m still trying to figure out specifics.
