Need Suggestions for 1st Switch for Data Engineer Role
Hi Everyone, I am currently in TCS (Digital) with around 2.5 years of experience working in BFSI Domain, My Tech Stack is Python, AWS. In the Past 2.5 Years I had worked on developing applications using AWS Bedrock and Worked on Batch Data Pipelines using Glue for creation of Data Products. Currently Client work is getting to vague and it is repetitive, I am trying to Switch into Core Data Engineering Domain, I had started learning Pyspark, In Glue I had mostly used Python Scripts to do ETL work. So What are the skills that are needed to Switch Successfully by atleast grabbing a 14-16LPA offer. Anyone who had recently switched or appearing to interviews for Data Engineer Roles who are from Service Based Companies. Could you please share your experience. My current CTC is 8.2LPA
I am targetting to gain knowledge on Pyspark, Airflow and build a Batch Pipeline Project from Scratch to add as a project
Please share your suggestions, I need to get out of this torture as soon as possible.
Thanks in Advance
