Hi all,

My husband (age 30, Norwood stage IV) was quoted ₹4.8 lakhs for a DHI hair transplant in Chennai. The clinic mentioned 6000 hairs (not grafts) at ₹80 per hair.

From what I understand, that roughly converts to around 2400–3000 grafts, which puts the cost somewhere around ₹160–₹200 per graft.

They claim DHI is exclusive/patented and gives better results, but I’ve seen mixed opinions online.

👉 Is this pricing fair for India? 👉 Is DHI actually worth paying a premium over FUE? 👉 Has anyone had similar graft count done—what did you pay?

Would really appreciate honest feedback before we make a decision. Thanks!
