Maybe you can help me with an earworm?
A friend just sent me a link to Mammoth by Dimitri Vegas. It rekindled something that has always bothered me... In the first minute or so of the song (in the 5:32 long version at least), there's this dreamy repeating synth pattern that reminds me of some other song. Probably an older trance track. It's so similar that it could maybe even be a direct sample but I just can't place it. Any thoughts?
