Manuka honey product TRIGGERED my eczema

I got this skin therapy cream by a company called First Honey a while ago that has medical grade Manuka honey in it but also other ingredients. Originally got it for a really bad flare-up I was having on my face, but it didn’t seem to be helping so I switched to a different product (La Roche-Posey eczema cream has been my savior).

I’ve kept it on hand though and used it without problems, but mostly on my legs and arms, which tend to get dry but not where I get eczema flare ups. Well, last night I put it on my hands because I wanted some extra TLC for some scabs and cracks I have. Aaaand this morning I woke up with the backs of both hands covered in tiny itchy bumps. I’m going to go crazy! Took a list at the ingredients and yes, Manuka honey is the second listed after water, but the third is stearyl alcohol so I’m wondering if that’s what caused it, because everyone always talks about how magical Manuka honey is for healing.
