I need some guidance

So i am a second year tech student at a engineering college which is tier 3. Now through my contacts this semester i have an opportunity to intern with deloitte at the risk advisory domain(non tech role). And since its second year, its not on official career portal and its through connection, i would still be gettng an official offer letter. And i will also make it a point that a completion certification is given by end of it. Its a remote job and its upto me to discuss what duration i want it for.

I do want to pivot to a more management and business type of role than engineering too but again i dont want this internship to be of no value in the sense i dont want to be handed over simple tasks and get done with it.

Do you guys think it is a good option to go for it?
