▲ 2 r/NIPT

Hi everyone. I’m thankful to have found this group and curious if anyone has ever received similar test results and have it all become a false positive? I’m 40 years old and have 3 children (ages 23, 9 & 6).

My NIPT showed low risk for everything except Trisomy 18, which showed 91% risk. I had my blood drawn for this test at 10 weeks.

Last week I went to triage for evaluation of some random spotting/bleeding that started out of nowhere. Baby’s heartbeat and activity was normal, but the oficial ultrasound report came back noting “Localized multiseptated structure spanning the level of the posterior neck concerning for cystic hygroma. Additional diffuse skin edema greatest posteriorly.” I am attaching a video of my ultrasound images just curious to see if anyone sees anything that I’m unable to interpret. In my own online searches to compare images I feel myself going down a spiral and just feeling more depressed as time goes on.

I am scheduled for CVS and NT Scan this Tuesday morning and of course feeling anxious and overwhelmed. Has anyone had a similar situation and had it resolve on its own? I am praying for a healthy baby but also trying to prepare myself mentally for the possibility of loss.

Thank you if you are reading this and I am sorry we are all going through this.
