Hi everyone, I had an interview for a PhD position about 5 weeks ago, and was told I’d hear back in early May, but it’s now past that time and I’ve heard nothing, and the application portal is the same.

Is it frowned upon to send an email asking if there’s any updates? Might be a silly question, but I don’t want to come across as pushy or anything.
