I’m looking for a one part book with a cast of lovable characters and a deep plot that makes you think. I’m okay with any genre except zombie fiction and Cyberpunk. I would like also if the book isn’t too old to the point it uses lesser used words I would have to look up while reading. If it helps I really enjoyed the maze runner series and how the story of that unfolded.

Sorry this is so vague but I’m trying to get into books and there’s so many options I just done know what to choose.. hope you all can help me!
