Ok so here is the deal I am actually a network engineer, but I have someone in my life who lives a considerable distance from me who has little interest in tech

She has 2 floors in her apartment and uses the provided FiOS WiFi/gateway for the main level but wants to add WiFi downstairs. There is a wired Ethernet jack working there.

I'm trying to figure out what AP would be simple enough to drop there that would let her ruam and not call me every week to tweak, I also don't want to have her invest like I would suggest to a commercial client
