I’m 2 weeks into the Wegovy pill and down around 10 pounds already! I know a lot of that can be water weight early on, but honestly the biggest win so far has been the mental shift. The appetite suppression has been a game changer for me, and for the first time in a long time the food noise is quiet. Food noise used to take up so much space in my head. Constantly thinking about what to eat, when to eat, wanting more, planning the next thing. It was exhausting. A couple years ago I lost around 40 pounds on my own, so I know I’m capable of change. But then life happened. I developed fibroids, got depressed, and slowly stopped caring about myself. I was emotionally eating, bingeing, constantly DoorDashing, getting high, and just living in a cycle that made me feel worse and worse. I had my fibroids removed in January 2025, but even after surgery I still had all the habits and mindset that came with that season of my life. I kept trying to restart. Diets, motivation, doing what worked before. Nothing was clicking. I felt stuck and frustrated. Trying a GLP-1 felt like such a big step for me. I used to think people were crazy for taking it, and I never thought I would do something like that myself. I was scared of putting something like this into my body, but I’m so glad I did. These last two weeks have given me hope again. I feel more in control, more positive, and excited for the future. I can’t wait to keep going, feel like myself again, and start putting myself out there again in life and dating. I know it’s still early, but this already feels like more than weight loss. It feels like getting me back.

TLDR: 2 weeks on the Wegovy pill, down 10 pounds, food noise is gone, appetite is way more manageable, and I feel really positive about the future for the first time in a while.
