At this point, I don’t know what to do with this game.
Played on and off for a few years now but decided to take golf seriously about 8 months ago. I got 4 lessons and have been at the range consistently 3-5 times a week. I’m finally at a point where I make consistent good contact so felt I could go to gauge where I’m at. I didn’t expect to do great, but boy was this round a punch in the gut. I could not hit the ball with any sort of consistency at all. I played smart golf; avoided hero shots, tried to keep it in play, but even if you take away the blowup holes, it was an absolute terrible round.
I’m not sure where to go from here, my goal this season was to break 100 and now I feel the need to reassess. Sorry if this post seems whiny. Do y’all have any tips on how to move forward?
