As the title suggests I was recently declared PMU at the Royal Navy Aviation Medical for Pilot (I passed the general RN medical without issue a few months ago). It’s devastating to get so far and fall at the last hurdle but I am now looking at other options. Unfortunately being PMU means I am also unfit for Royal Navy ATC. This makes little sense to me (and my recruiter) but I have accepted it. My question is this: Does the RAF require AvMeds for ATC? And: Does PMU for all aircrew roles include ATC in the RAF?
Many thanks in advance
