Keyboard Warrior Neighbor
I recently realized that someone in this community is actually my neighbor, and honestly its been pretty terrible to uncover. She’s shared a lot of very specific details about herself, her house, and even me, so it wasn’t hard to figure out.
Up until now, I thought we were on good terms. maybe not super close, but definitely friendly. That’s why it was surprising to see her regularly post about me as a “neighbor from hell.” Most of what she says leaves out important context or twists things to make herself look like the victim. I’m not claiming to be perfect, but I definitely don’t deserve to have lies spread about me or threats made toward my family.
She has always been nice to my face. However, she is the type to gossip about everyone else to me....now I can’t help but wonder what she’s been saying about me to the other neighbors.
I’m torn between confronting her directly or just distancing myself and ignoring it moving forward.
