My first impression of the song was a mental movie of Justin on the road on a fast motorcycle in a Spider-Man-demon-eye-esque helmet swerving through traffic with the good adrenaline rush with all of the power and freedom that comes with riding a bad ass bike through LA traffic which can be full of losers trying to cut bikes off and being really obnoxious but Justin’s just smiling his smile knowing he’s got a lot of reasons to run them over but he heat checks them instead by not only looking fly and flying past them but beating them with happiness while they’re all angry and miserable. Also when I first started reading this thread I was like “Why tf would he be on a scooter!?” And then it started clocking to me about his old management lmao- which, to be fair, fits this idea as well. To me this song has a lot of interpretable metaphors with multiple meanings cuz he’s a super talented poet.
