So today I went on a ride along and asked the officer what made her so passionate about the job and that she should be proud. I really admire police officers, especially women. Anyways the officer I was riding with told me that this is just a job to her and it isn’t anything special. She basically said she comes and does her job and goes home.

I guess I expected more from an officer and was wondering if this is normal? She made it seem like her badge doesn’t mean anything and that it doesn’t matter when she’s out of work or her uniform. Why would you be in LE if you think that??? Otherwise I had a good time and learned a lot from her I’m just confused on the mindset.
